for the members it really depens on what you can provide, many users like private ftps i guess that is a start :D

You should learn to spell correctly. I hate seeings sites that have misspelled words all over the place. The pop-up idea is great but make it a little smaller. Other than that I like the theme and the site! To get more members just tell people about your site. If you have good content it should grow itself. Also try affiliating to other websites that have the same theme. Good luck!

Hello,
I suggest these to be done
- Remove "register today "
- because your forum is still fresh remove the ads... or put an ad banner in the footer ... or you can manage to put a neat one in the free space in the big banenr ( with the big C )
- put a good favicon

A little color might help it look more inviting, perhaps a shade of light blue on the text or links maybe. The "Register Now" message is way to big -- waste of space. Having it that big doesn't make more people register, it just annoys other surfers! otherwise nice site.
