I am going to buy a domain, but I can't choose between .com and .net (both are for the same price).

Please vote and sound off so I can make up my mind ASAP :D

I know that there is DedicatedTV.NET, and SceneDDL.NET. Seems like warez is more a .net kind of a site? xD or am I just being ridicolous now? :P
 
.com obviously. Its the most used by people. Also when people do a search they always have .com in their heads. :P
 
Definitely buy both. Otherwise somebody can copy your site with the other domain and steel your traffic.

The question of which is better in this case shouldn't matter as you should be buying both to protect yourself.
 
It makes the most sense to buy all (sensible) available TLDs available. It's just you trying to secure your "brand". Don't be a cheapskate now (y)

If you can't afford an extra $10 for a domain what makes you think you can afford thousands taking legal action to get the domain confiscated. They can easily modify their site enough so you can't confiscate it legally..... why am I even having this conversation as it's absurd considering it's over $10 to protect yourself. What a complete waste of my time.
