Aside from a sniper having deadly accuracy, it's not a factor in Black Ops. You can't scope in fast enough with your sniper against your opponent to QS them because Sleight of Hands no longer aims down sights faster for snipers. Also, no one played Hardcore game modes, they sucked ass. Everyone would be camping with overpowered guns like the FAL since they're one shot kills so that's why they took it out I'm presuming.

MW2 was really crappy tbh, not sure how I racked up all the time played I had on it. cod4, even waw was a fps game. MW2 was not a fps more like a vps (vehicle person shooter) as there was massive campers just going for nukes. I know it is not only the ps3 as 360 is having server lag as well, its just they can't handle over a million people online at once. When I got the game at midnight and played with all the little kids in bed it worked a lot better. Quick scopes are really unrealistic, and one of the worst things in the series (as well has last stand). Lots played hardcore games, more played hardcore then regular as far as people I know, I don't see why they had to take out mosh pit, it was a great game mode. The true skilled running around for the objective and still getting kills would strive for points.
 
I am personally impressed with Black Ops. Have yet to fully explore the game, but at first glance and my initial game play I am really enjoying it.

Are you joking? MW2 was hands down awesome, sure there was a lot of camping, but that's something you see in every FPS, and in Black Ops more then ever. MW2 was pure action, what FPS' are supposed to be. And going for nukes was a challenge abused by a lot of people, but it was a fun one for us tryhards too. And VPS? Nigga please, there were only 2 things you could control (Chopper Gunner, AC130) and both could be taken down unlike dogs in BO/WaW. And again, I've yet to experience lag on 360 and I've been playing for 18 hours or so. Obviously Quickscopes are unrealistic, it is a game and there are some things that can't be done irl.

Plus, no one would play hardcore modes over regular modes, it's just stupid, especially in games where you can killstreak whore. Double plus, if you were truly skilled, you wouldn't be mad at BO/MW2 for some of their flaws.
 
why do people complain about Camping?
think of it this way in shooter games or real life
if you where getting hunted you would hide and camp to get your kill
so play the game like you would do in the real life CAMP!
 
Cause it's not real life but a game. By your logic racing games should have a speedlimit -_-

Yout don't re spawn in real life, once your dead there's no coming back. I do not have the patience to camp, I am constantly moving, whether it be in a camping like position (territory) or around the entire map.

An official one? I already tried all the configs and shit, disabling steam crap, prioity blabla. And now the official CoD forums are also offline. Fucking wankers I want to play my game I paid for <_<
 
im not saying people have to play like me but im saying don't bitch about people camping
its part of the game and always will be so just check every corner to make sure you dont get tagged lol

I do check corners, and I do camp myself at times. But if your playing an objective based game mode and people are sitting next to what ever it maybe and are not trying to win, then leave and go play a tdm.
 
Play the game all the time on my xbox 360 ( I think its better than MW2 in some ways)
Its a great game but its still basically almost the same as MW2 with new gun,maps,etc


COD4 was the best in the series btw :)
