centos install help

hi friends on my server this time install centos 5.9 but i want uinstall this version and install new version 6.3 please give me tutorial what i do?

As far as a fresh install there is no difference except in the choice you make when loading your vps/server. It should have a list of OS for you.


If you have a website and panel installed then you will need to use the panel backup and restore.

There is no uninstall. Just wipe the whole thing and reload.

Where is hosted your VPS?
Can you show User Panel?
Maybe you must open ticket for that / or pay for new OS installation.

Centos is an free OS and must installed by your provider.
Or if its at your own server u can download centos at CentOS Project and install it

backup you data , and wipe all of others install new one , and install packages you need with yum command :D and you are good to go but i personally recommand use centos 7
