CDN Hosting

What is a CDN
A content delivery network is a simple caching proxy hosted in a location close to where the user resides that speeds up the loading of images and CSS on your site. All you need to do is replace a link to an image e.g http://example.com/1.gif with http://CDN.com/example_username/1.gif and it our servers on high speed connections in various countries do all the work. We route requests to servers in a datacenter closest to the user so that your site loads as fast as possible.

Approximate costs

Most sites this service will cost less than $10 a month, currently we have a large 25K UV/day site trialing the service, its estimated cost per month so far is less than $0.20 a day.

Limitations

Your server must respond and transfer the whole file (via HTTP) to our server within 29 seconds
Max file size is 32MB
No limitation is currently placed on your MAX cache storage size howeaver if you exceed 200MB cache storage on a consistant basis we will contact you.
If you wish to stream large files please contact us for prices.

Interested?
Proceed to register here: http://x4b.org/
Please note our website frontend domain is still yet to resolve, so thats why its an IP above. Currently the service is in a pre-release status. More servers are coming online every day as more people purchase.

this is good, I'm on a cdn too (with desiboy). it really speeds up the loading like the site is just miles away from the user's home.

Just a comparison on performance, sanis hope you dont mind I used your maxcdn as an example.

ping cdn.atomicwarez.com (Max CDN)

Pinging atomic.none14.netdna-cdn.com [67.201.31.192] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 67.201.31.192: bytes=32 time=200ms TTL=57
Reply from 67.201.31.192: bytes=32 time=198ms TTL=57

ping MYCDN (Domain name redacted till release)

Pinging appspot.l.google.com [66.102.11.141] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 66.102.11.141: bytes=32 time=35ms TTL=56
Reply from 66.102.11.141: bytes=32 time=36ms TTL=56
Reply from 66.102.11.141: bytes=32 time=86ms TTL=56

need I say any more :P

My CDN server is ready, just coding the automatic signup and costing mechanisms.

I think I can swich if I see that your services is better ;)

Will see. Best wishes. I will review this time to time.

Just a FYI, if anyone wishes to try and review it Im offering a $3 account credit.

Howto:
1) Register here: http://94.102.60.33/
2) Reply here with your username, the origin/site url, and a identifier (5-20 characters, optional else I will make one for you)

First in best dressed but dont apply if you arent going to post a review. I have to manually setup accounts till automatic registration is written.

Well u dont have any customers yet and they have thousands, maybe thats why :D

Haha, actually its to do with peering and the way multihomed cloud hosting works. We have a secret, something that no one else to date has made comercial that makes our pings so low.

Service will be live in a few hours. Currently just configuring the automatic setup and removal of accounts and waiting to hear back from our first user (tester)

Sure :P

Ok so your CDN url in your panel is: http://cdn.x4b.org/stn

So say you have this image: http://stolethe.net/wp-content/themes/Polished/images/logo.png
Its path on the CDN would be: http://cdn.x4b.org/stn/wp-content/themes/Polished/images/logo.png

The content on those URLs is the same except the second is faster.
Also please note guys our cloud hosting provider in the US has notified us that they are performing maitnence and extra latency may result.

Wordpress User
Since you are running wordpress a plugin such as: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/my-cdn/ May help you to setup the CDN just set the pre-url: to http://cdn.x4b.org/stn/

Ok a number of improvements to the service have been made tonight, after 30 hours straight working on this im going to get some sleep. To all those experiencing high pings on the current system ive re-ordered some of the DNS system and done more optimisations for some countries.

When I get up I will finish off the NL,DE,LU and EG nodes and integrate them and their rates (which for NL,DE and LU will be cheaper and for EG around the same)
