I do study for sometime before I buy a VPS account from Boxslots. I'm a windows user, not familiar with Linux OS (In fact, I know nothing about Linux)

At last, I made decision to buy from them. As you know Linux is look like alien for me. I did mass up their server  again and again

Do you know how they treat me? They are steady and calm. Help me to fix my mass even if I did mass again and again.

I think this is more importance than server or connection speed. It's customer support. (I think, the server or connection speed of each company is very close, up to the plan you buy - how much you spend money)

So ...

If you are looking for VPS account, Please consider Boxslots. They will not disappoint you.

Since 1 1/2 week i use this package on Boxslots
Virtual Servers (2Gbit/s) - NL-S250

its a really good and fast server speeds to FTP and other Hosters are very Good i will Today or Tommorow my Speed Screeens ;)

Thanks for your feedback guys, we appreciate it alot! I'm really glad you are satisfied with our servers and support :)

Hi guys, I have ordered the NL-S250, but my experience with this VPS is not good.

I only got around 20M/s with a torrent on hdbits with more than 100 seeders using deluge. I usually got more than 30M/s on another VPS with 1GB link with the same deluge setting.

the more terrible thing is it take more than 30 minutes to RAR a 5.6G file with the store level compression.

but their support is good, fast reponse time, he has help to change some deluge setting, I will test the speed later

Im on one of the 1gbit VPS' and have up to 106mb/s download speed. Your on a 2gbit package which should indeed be a bit faster, try having a chat to one of their support reps on the live chat.

If you want to rar/unrar, you will need a dedicated HDD. Shared disks are not good for this purpose.

The line speed doesn't matter after a point. I can give you a 10 Gbit line but it will be pretty much worthless if your HDD cannot handle those speeds. If you have 4 users sharing and raping the same HDD, it will be a miracle if you can get 20-25 MB/s.

nano, can you please check the ticket#495925, your staff said will move my VPS to new node later yesterday, but no update until now, even no one response to my ticket.

Your ticket has been resolved now, sorry for the delay trott

well, I was moved to a new node(NL-9), I just do a test, it only got 8M/s on a well seeded torrent, on another 1Gb VPS, the speed is around 27M/s,

Dude, your testing via torrents ? i hope you know all the ins & outs of torrents before you make comments such as your above suggested, all im saying bro.

Testing your speed via torrents is not always the best way as so many factors come into play when using them. Could you please contact us via ticket and we will get things sorted out for you, we do not check this forum post very frequently.

The real bottleneck is the storage medium, not the interface. The 6 Gbit/s you are talking about is the Sata 3 interface but it's quite useless on a magnetic HDD.

Very true, it does not make as much difference as people would like to think but we have still seen a 15MB/s increase with the disks performance. Totally worth doing as every little counts :)
