Lately I have been obsessed with Bitcoins, I find the idea behind it to be absolute genius. I also noticed that there are many clones of Bitcoin as well, so I figured I would attempt to make my own, in my own way of course.
The process took two days of planing, I wrote the entire design on paper, and then I wrote the code. Although it may not seem like much right now, this is only the pre-alpha stage.
The way that BlooCoin differs from cryptocurrencies is that everything is controlled by a central server, unlike other systems that are based on peer-to-peer systems.
At the moment there are no BlooCoins that have been generated, this allows every coin to have value when it is created because every coin required the work to create.

Currently, the difficulty for mining is at the lowest it will every be. As time goes on I will be forced to raise the difficulty to control the creation of BlooCoins, eventually it will become almost impossible to create BlooCoins, at this point the creation of new Bloocoins will come to a halt.
Why the name BlooCoins? It just popped in my head as I was coding :P
BlooCoins and Bitcoins are really nothing alike. BLC does not use a block-chain like BTC does, and BLC is not a p2p system. BlooCoin is an eCurrency, and Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. It is important to understand this.
EDIT: BlooCoins are highly, highly, HIGHLY, experimental. I just wanted to see what it would be like to create an online currency that had a "National Bank" of sorts. Again, you can decide whether the idea is a good one or not, but even if you do not agree with the concept, take a crack at it, see what it's like! I am not expecting to have created the next Bitcoin.
EDIT: The difficulty for the earlier coins has been lowered to 7. I noticed that no one has been able to create a coin and that is not how it should be in the beginning... the currency needs to be created! :P
For every 205000 coins created the difficulty will be increased by one. This means that a total of 25,000,000 will be created and when that happens the creation of bloocoins will stop.
