I know warez site without havin any Multiposters.
There is much difference i can see from other warez site.
The site is just like a family, there will be much fun n kinda stuffs...

But its very hard if you are aiming at some cash.. :P
and for new forums too. For some content to ur site, it requires autoposters.

if you want to see your site grow and become famous, dont shy away from hard work. these little warez forums you are talking about WONT get any traffic even if they have 500 topcis posted through multi posters because the same content WILL exist in 100 other well established places.

@ OP : You are absolutely right , but if new warez forums implements this, they wont have any content.

Its better to open a new blog instead of forum if you aren't aiming for building community.

This is nonsense. I have seen how forums grow with help of mp users. Like i said, mp or not either way you will have duplicate content. Only with mp users you will have sh*t load of it and without them you will have 5 posts copied from other place.

Idiot. P2P sites are great. But a lot of us don't like that the content leaves with the seeders.

Just because you're a cashwhore or have come across a lot of cashwhore webmasters and uploaders doesn't mean everyone's like that.

That said, it is incredible the number of people trying to make money of sharing content. It used to be an economic or social statement, now too many people have taken it to a point where it's just about getting money and free stuff.

Where did you saw i said something bad about p2p? Warez is for money making and p2p is not. Are you that dumb to realize what am i saying? Go to your troll hole and learn abc's.
And you calling someone a cashwore, your profile is linked to warez site which is full of WU and FSO links....waster.
 
There's no way, you can identify a MultiPoster.
The only workaround would be to irritate the hell out of your users by adding Human-Identification tools like captchas ,and questions.
But this would also irritate your genuine users.

you can block EC multiposter by adding this code to your .htaccess file. i have tested it to work on all the type of forums the multiposter can work on. this was posted by the coder a time back and i found it on this site via google.

I'm not pro or contra multiposters..
But I will tell you my story...I go to some nice forums, great design , great domain..good potential..and wanted to post manual my posts ..I take a look about some sections..guess what?? When you saw 10 new posts apearing evrey 1 minute, and 90% of posts have 0 views..imagine your post will go down to 3-4 page in only few minutes.. So I just I forget about these forums with thousands of posts every day and 0 views/downloads..These forums win traffic but they discourage manual posters...

I found blogs and forums with only 10% traffic comparing with these "Big forums" ..but with many views and downloads and sales.. Guess what? Almost all posts are manual..

Of curse we have few big exceptions.. pornbb it's one..but here it's a huge community and many members still post manual..

but the people always try to think that quantity is more important than quality..in uploading and web, 1+1 is not always 2(only intelligent people can understand what i meant :))

So, this code blocks a specific User:Agent ?

Anyone can spoof a user-agent.
 
i think so...i have seen a a page on some site where you can spoof google bot to enter a vbulletin forum... it was a firefox addon with a greasemonkey script
