I dont mind waiting a little bit the most help i'm gonna need it on setting up the name servers for my domains cause i have no idea on how and setup the sites on the vps also... :)

i already have open a ticket for that(setup&security) and many other problems im running so far if you are from axis could you please check this ticket #423428

And when you say that you make the setup will this include also to secure my VPS aswell?? I asked many times that

BTW if you are from axis its running smooth for the last 10 minutes after 50 or more offline/online issues the past 2 hours....

i dont work for them but kloxo is easy to use after you get use to it

vps secure just ask them to secure it up after kloxo as been setup

if you mean firewall they already protected but for extra protection you can ask them to install csf and ddos deflate

if you vps is going off and online then it sounds like your setup wrong

Is it hard for a linux Noob ?

BTW does anyone else have offline/online issues constantly (personally every 5 minutes!! with only a shoutcast server installed) ? the last 2 hours at least ?
 
try get a free trial vps from somewhere and test shoutcast on there then you have a idea if its your install or the vps problem

i dont work for axisnext i just thought i try help out

if it still keeps cutting off on that vps then its your setup

also have you tryed doing a yum update on ssh for your vps then reboot and see if that helps

Do you believe this can be my problem for online/offline constantly ?

And also another question stupid a little :)but am rookie with vps stuff is it normal to wait 1 minute for the console to log you in after you type the pass?
 
i did a test on console mine took about 20sec

looks like your vps is lagging

try do the yum update and after that reboot and see if it improves

found this if your using castcontrol

Im not using any control panel only shoutcast server...
Yum update... Please help Linux Noob here :'(

Probably your VPS load is getting high. Please open a ticket :)

It is an IP issue. The IP is not routed properly. So the connection can not be made or is getting lost (high packet loss).

Your VPS was not restarted even once :)

And think that now i'm installing kloxo also...
By the way i didnt install anything on the server till now (i am installing kloxo) and i didnt change any dns etc... (even if i wanted i dont know how... :)
 
well memory seems fine as my kloxo shows about 350mb

but if you got high cpu for shoutcast then maybe you installed incorrect

have you checked the correct settings been made of

thats if it castcontrol if not post here what it is and i check what the settings are

Added after 6 minutes:

did you manage to try the yum update

and the php settings should show in kloxo panel anyway

or also php.ini
