Hi all,

I'm connecting to my vps more than times per day. so im very lazy to type login details. so i've found solution. i just wanna share it with you all :)

Yea, i know many ssh tools can save login details, this is for putty lovers <3

1. Right click and Create a shortcut on desktop.

2. Type the location of item correctly.

"Putty.exe path here" user@server.com -pw password
or
"Putty.exe path here" user@ip.add.re.ss -pw password

Example:

3. Type any name for this shortcut.

4. You can easily connect to your server.

Anytime you use PuTTy and saved passwords.. its in cleartext in the windows registry. Just an FYI. Not Secure at all.

No one appears to have mentioned it in this thread, so I thought I would.

MTPuTTY is a great way to save multiple SSH connections. It allows you to save a nickname, IP, port, username and password. It can be configured to auto-login, great little program.
