To auto close brackets and html tags in Notepad++ instal /use the plugin "XBrackets Lite".
The "TextFX" pulgin also have option for auto-close [x]html tags and meny other utilityes that are available after install this plugin, and it's show as menu.
- To install a plugin in Notepad++, go to Plugins -> Plugin Manager -> Show Plugin Manager and check the plugin/s you want to install.
