Australian site, valid ABN, but .COM.AU still fails — why?

A valid ABN or ACN isn't the whole .com.au eligibility check. The domain name still has to fit the .au allocation rules.

auDA has approved in principle a change that would remove goods, services, events, activities or premises as a way to qualify the name, although the change isn't active yet.

Anyone here managing Australian sites had a .com.au order rejected even with a valid ABN? What caused it?
