Due to its price and specs its a killer phone but it will die as more new functions will be needed to added soon

I very much enjoy Cyanogenmod , even though im fairly new to it, the only down side is it distorts the mic on the phone and and crashes from time to time google market. And now that Microsoft is preparing to buy it out, I believe i will have no choice to move to a different OS other then my beloved Cyanogenmod

Wow, I've used CyanogenMod for a while now to protect my privacy and get away from Google integration. This is the first I've heard of M$ acquiring Cyan. What alternatives are you looking at to replace it?

I read a while back that Ubuntu created a phone OS, So i was considering that, but will look into more throughout the next couple weeks, and see which one will suit my phone. Its old, Samsung S3
