This offer seems very interesting to me, but unfortunately for me it's not possible to even reach the main site of the host. I hope that's an exceptional error (or that my connection is at fault).
 
The server is fine and we are upgrading it to better serve your needs.

@ AQH , You do know that your datacenter has NO DDOS protection at all , I know from experience. You may think that buying from BalticServers is great now but trust me if your using it as a shared server from BS ,... You going to get DDoS'ed from Russians. Do a little research first ;) Thats my 2 cents.

Yes we do know that, we have implemented software level DDoS protection measure, i.e Litespeed Web Server.

@Shiz, we are not hacked, its just your account that has been compromised, and even that there were only 2 html files, nothing else. I have removed those, and i suggest you to change your password.
 
We have done the research. Lite Speed Web Server is included with each plan and G41.html isn't a good file to place. It doesn't replace the index.html. Obviously, the hacker didn't actually hack.

Yes, agreed. We don't see any issues on the user's account or the server either.
The files were not even properly kept, which was obviously a try to deface the website.

There is no need to worry much Share Shiz, i have contacted you on MSN.

@Michael, can you please come to MSN/Yahoo? I'd like more details on your findings about this.

Lets see what happens when a huge ass botnet attacks you. If all companys could do this how is it that big companies got ddosed -.-

Once you get a huge botnet your fucked. BS only has ddos protection for their own server. Dont be cheap. CHeap isnt always good

We are aware of that, we actually at first thought Baltic did have hardware DDoS for its customers as addon, but nope they dont.

Litespeed manages DDoS nicely by dropping the packets. It has been proven already many times. Also, hardware level protection is essential for very huge attacks.

We will soon move to a hardware DDoS protected server in this case.

This is our measure of DDOS Protection. Take it or leave it. You don't have to sign up with us. Nothing is perfect since big companies get DDOSed.

Seriously, Litespeed is a good choice we made, since we have already paid for the server through Baltic. As they are a bit mess when solving DDoS issues, that is why we have to work on it ourselves.
