Any good Android apps?

So my new iphone is destroyed. I was hit by two oncoming vehicals and launched front first past a ditch. Everything in my car shattered. I think when my side was smashing my center-console to pieces the phone died. So this time I thought why not android?

So good apps? I like games like evony, but have yet to find anything decent.

Flipboard (for fast news about everything)
MX Player (supports all formats that are not supported by native player)
AdAway as previously mentioned (phone needs to be rooted first)
FireFox (I would recommend it do not use chrome)
Lookout (for security)
Handcent (best alternative messaging app)
