Haha, that pretty much says it all. I didn't know him, but if he really did start the forum not to profit but to share, to enjoy, and to share enjoyment my assumption would be he pulled down the forum and left warez because of what it had turned into.

Auto-downloader, auto-uploaders, and then auto-posters to spread their trash uploads all over the web so they can maximize profits.

If that really was the reason he closed the forum down I have a lot of respect for him and agree with UltimA.

Seems likely to me he was given the choice of either doing a bunch of mods to the forum to keep it organized and scour the internet for some people who are actually interested in sharing or just closing the site and giving up.

I'm essentially working on the first option (except starting from scratch), but I definitely empathize with someone who would decide to go the other way. :D

i dont need domain because if i am bad user then its a waste traffic for me and if i am good as like you then i dont need it because i can create that traffic

I dont know lokiloki but like all other large sites, Its all about your sites reputation. The reason its so good and big is because your the only one who can make it that way.

Why hand it to someone else who has had the chance but was never successfull.. I believe in "you create the site.. The site dies with you" nothing more..

Except if you work hard and forget you did own the site but forgot you handed over long ago and when you decide to bring it down you do it but then it gets put in the wrong hands :(

I had nothing but respect for the way LokiLoki ran the site, there was no politics, games or BS. It was the first Warez site I accessed after almost ten years without touching a computer (for various reasons), and though I was completely out of touch when it came to tech and everything else, TPF was nothing but helpful.
I'm going to miss it.
 
he told me about TPF when he closed it down. and yeah he told me that he's not going to sell it or give it away to anyone cause he knows if he sold the site another admin will probably do something shit same as a user of WJ did when "Whoo" sold him his site "Whoo.WS" so same goes with TPF, and i'll rep LokiLoki for not selling it,

respect for that guy <3 and yeah it was an old and awesome forum so heads up <3
 
now to talking sense. TPF was a cool place having been marooned in the abyss of the internet I came across it while lookink for former Katz mates though the looks where ancient what it lacked in looks it made up in content. its so unfortunate that Loki Loki has hang up his gloves but ill say that TPF died with all its honors battle. unlike trouble ridden Katz which still points to a scammy site.
