AdSpyglass has launched a new ad format Interstitial. It can be an excellent alternative to popunder, as it complies with the requirements of the Coalition Better Ads and CPMs are similar to popunders.
How it works:
It’s a full-screen overlay. Interstitial ads appear to cover the full screen after visitors click on any link and can be dismissed by the visitor easily if desired. After the advertisement is closed, the visitor redirects to the link.

- Interstitial is much better suited for clicking on target= “_ blank” links than everyone’s favorite popunder.
- Great for triggering after a click on the player. After closing, VAST advertising will start; this is also noticeably better than any pops on the player.
