Actually most users with popular sites around here dont even try to mention their sites on this public board. Unless is a warez sites then I guess they throw it around.

Im not talking WJ members, but other webmasters, like when you contact them they just get a damn attitude with you or just act stuck up :P
 
It varies a lot. One thing you have to remember with large warez webmasters is they have to deal with a lot of crap, more so than other legal sites. The problems involved in dealing with a large warez site are a lot different than a legal one and your users and members are generally far more immature and younger kids in warez. You don't get a lot of mature adults hanging around on warez sites compared to eg a forum discussing cars and motors for example of which some are huge. You really have to look at things from the perspective for the webmaster.
