Colorpicker plugin for firefox is the best.

How often do you pick a color that you need a firefox plugin? Anyway their are lots of these available that are free and opensource. I used to use http://www.2createawebsite.com/build/hex-colors.html as it gives similar colors to the one you pick which is useful and it has the options of RGB, hue, brightness and saturation controls.
I added a nice small one to my site where you have to pick the color of the text but if someone finds a nicer open source one let me know. http://linkzbot.com/template.php
