I still don't understand why people would want to continue receiving money for upping copyrighted movies? It means you could be dragged into lawsuit or legal action as a co conspirator, and for what a few hundred bucks?

They will be difficult to use or make money from, i just wasted money with a filesonic premium so no way im getting a premium account again with another filehoster. I assume a lot of people will be like me, when new hosts come along nobody will trust them enough to get premium accounts.

Why would anybody want to receive money for sharing right now? You want to end up sharing a prison cell with the megaupload guys? If you make money of other peoples work you are a criminal and you have to accept you could end up doing time.

Filesonic is a curious one, very popular still running a rewards program and they are silly enough to have servers in the USA, guess they must like prison food.

Would suck even more if the doj shuts them all down for good, that's whats bound to happen if they keep servers in the us and take money from us customers.

I joined for another 3 months but wish i hadn't, apparently filesonic have USA based servers like megaupload so their days must be numbered as well.

Has anybody renewed their account (3 months or more) since the change? I have to renew my account but im worried they might have changed it so a 3 month or 6th month subscription auto renews, in the past it was a once off payment but it's hard to actually find out on the filesonic website...
