Fileserve just deleted every file I had that had a duplicate name.
Happened no matter whether I had posted the file or the link in question anywhere.
Also deleted every file over 1 gB.
Also deleted every file not downloaded after 60 days, even though I have 6 month premium.
Worst file host...
Just cleared my cache and it's still happening.
Must be something more fundamental.
Since this literally happened in the middle of a session in firefox that I was using for at least 3-4 hours. Nothing I do in firefox seems to make fileserve work again. Remedies tried include restarting my computer.
Just PM'd you a traceroute and hope you pass it to technical to see what the problem is.
I still see the 400: Bad Request on any attempt to reach the Fileserve.com site.
EDIT: Ugh... apparently it only happens in firefox..........
Please fix your site for firefox
Nope, same result here.
I think something might be going haywire with the routing tables or the file is stored on more than one server (or at least pointing to more than one server) and one of the locations it is at is empty.
I'm not accusing you of lying.
I just want to know if there is some kind of problem on your end that is making it download for 0 bytes for at least some people, and if there is, it would be nice if it could be fixed.
EDIT: Also, would like a comment on why the downloads for at least that...
http://www.fileserve.com/file/tqGrjpFthis file is downloading with 0 bytes for some reason, is the server it is on down or something?
EDIT:
It's also showing 0 downloads for the whole set of files it is a part of, even though I know they have been downloaded at least once, since the downloaders...
Stop astroturfing.
Going by your posts you are an alt account made specifically to astroturf.
The problem is knowinservers not giving me a prorated refund when I asked for it.
If they're not going to refund me, then I'm going to list all the legitimate problems I've had with them.
I have...
3.3626 TB over 13 days = 24.5249459 megabits combined direction, or 12.2624729 megabits per direction.
I could get better connection with any shared host.
So no, its really not worth it with all the trouble that's happened.
Nope, single connection speeds to anywhere Netdirekt is not directly peered to has dropped precipitously and are now hovering around 30-60 kilobytes per second per connection.
This is absolutely unacceptable.
This renders the service completely useless.
Hope any improvement comes soon as I've...
Was asking for other customer's service to see if this was widespread.
Your support didn't test connection to US, and that's what I care about.
With this out of the way, it seems that the connection from the server to the US (at the very least) is completely boned at the moment.
UPDATE: Looks...
Getting horrible upstream speeds from VPS.
30 kBps per connection to choopa.net
256 kBps per connection to rapidshare.com
Downstream seems ok.
Anyone else on node kS10004 having this issue?
DO NOT
The OP stated that the IPs are on round robin (doesn't look good that your IP shifts every time you connect to Paypal), and that this was a test basically.
So if you use for paypal, then first, Paypal will see Netdirekt IP.
Second, if these guys ever go under, you will HAVE to use...
