Why are you running Varnish on port 80 though. The better setup I've seen and used is Nginx + Apache + Varnish. Nginx handles static content, any dynamic content is passed through to Apache and if Apache is under load, Varnish displays the cache instead. Nginx:80 Varnish:6081 Apache:8080
