Talking with clients takes too much of my time. Please help!

Hi there! I have a problem with my business. I own small hosting company and I am spending most of my time for talking with my clients. I know that I could hire someone to do it but I am not making enough money yet. Do you have any ideas what could I do?

I would try to install live chat on your website.

I guess that then I will be doing nothing else but replying on live chat instead of email and phones.

Yea I would love to but I believe that contact with clients is pretty important.

Not really. You can find livechat with ticketing system. It will put your clients in line. In worst case you can answer your clients from your smartphone or tablet. Check livechatinc.com - they have nice apps for iOS and android devices.

Yea ticketing system is good idea. I could turn it on and off when I need it.
 
You need a ticketing system. Offer "Hosting" and "Premium Hosting", ticket support SLA 48hours for hosting and Business hours phone support for Premium Hosting clients. Problem solved.
 
Yea if both of you say so than I will try this 30-day free trial on livechat. 16$ a month is not so much so yea it could be good. I have my hosting packages sorted by it's capacity but yea I can add some payment for instant support. Thanks a lot!
 
I would not recommend live chat though. A ticket system like OTRS (free) or osTicket or WHMCS.

Why not? I am using it and it's very good. I know that you can find out some free ticket systems but i love notification on my iPhone about all tickets and chats from livechat. Can you set notifications on OTRS?

Yes, email notifications about everything.


Yes but it requires email notifications to be enabled. While i have couple of emails on my phone and tablet (private, work, freelance) i hate email notifications. But yea it can be not a problem to someone else :) I just like the LiveChat app - it's made very good.
 
Thank you guys for all of your replies. Sadly i installed free 30 days livechat before I saw post about OTRS. I like LC but if OTRS is free than I will check it for sure. Anyway - it looks like ticketing system really worked out in my case. Sadly I still have to reply for all of tickets but it's much better. Can someone tell me what's the difference between LC and OTRS?

I don't know OTRS at all so i can't compare it with LiveChat. But I see in appstore that there is also app for OTRS so who knows - maybe it will be better for you. Well 16$ is very low price so LC is not bad (and expensive) and I think your idea is also good. Noone says that this livechat have to work 24/7 - I can make it 2 hours per day like you said. But I will check OTRS anyway - 16$ is not much but I can invest this money in something else. We will see :)
 
You're welcome. As far as I am checking OTRS I see that the difference for sure is customization. Looks like you can do it in OTRS but it's not so easy like in livechat.

Oh, customization is very important to me because I am designer so I always put a lot of effort into design :/
