Hi,

Since past 1 month we have been getting a lot of requests to add support for filehosters
in our program NeembuuUploader.

NeembuuUploader is a java based free and open source software which allows user to upload
files to various filehosts like mediafire.

One of our users told me that the reason for increase in requests was because some
popular software turned out to be a phishing tool and he gave me a link to a wjunction thread on this topic.

When I came to wjunction and read what people discussed in that thread, I realized that
there were many people who got scammed.

Pardon me for my bluntness, but what I do not understand is,
why do people use such proprietary software, instead of using,
encouraging and contributing to free and open source software?
Probably because we didn't do much advertisement,
or maybe because we support less than 1/5th the
number of hosters other programs support.

Please help us in improving NeembuuUploader instead of getting scammed.
Suggestions, remarks, tips, criticism would be highly appreciated.

Sure, no problem, I respect that. However, with that, you're left with sorting out the issue yourself, I cannot help you on this further as no one else is facing the issues that are happening on your end.

Can you check and confirm that you can access and are also able to login successfully via the browser? UptoBox is banned by several ISPs throughout the world, so this might be the case in your country as well.
Meanwhile, I will check this plugin on my end and will report if I am able to reproduce that error on my end, or not.

Yes, i am able to login successfully & upload via the browser (chrome), but when i'm using neembuu, i get the error message above.

Also i am able to upload via neembuu to uptobox without account, but when i'm using my login info it's not working ( my login info are fine ) and i tried several time.

i hope i was clear in describing the problem.

Please fix this asap .. i have a lot of work and upload via browser take so long.

Sorry for the delay, I am a bit busy these days. And yes, I have checked this on my end and I have confirmed this as a known bug. I have also created this ticket, which you can monitor and refer to, regularly, to track the status of fixing this issue.

EDIT: Bug fixed! Plugin working again. You might need to wait a bit for an updated build. I'll try to generate one ASAP, however.

Hi,

Which build type do you use? Do you use the windows only, no-java-required build? Or do you use the (.jar)? I'm asking this because the (.jar) takes no time to generate, unlike the windows-no-java-required build.

Therefore, please reply here and let me know which build you use, because if you use the (.jar), I can provide you an updated build right now.

Unfortunately i'm not using the .jar version, i'm using the windows only portable version.
is the plugin will take so long to be fixed ?

Hi,

The plugin doesn't take long to fix, as you can see, I have already fixed the plugin and it is working completely fine. The delay is caused between build generation. The windows only, no java required build you are using is generated by the founders of the project and not everybody else, which is why that takes a bit of time. Also, we are planning several new features in the future builds which is also the reason for the delay in build generation; the project is undergoing a lot of changes, recently.

thanks for the hard work, mate :)

After I switched from 2.9.6 Nightly to official build, PrivateFiles upload problem disappeared. Both links appear now in the program as well as in PF's file manager.

where you found the new official build, there is only Version 2.9.6 on neembuu website.

Good news: I am currently working on testing and generating a new, updated, windows (no-java-required) build. If my tests go positive, then I'll supply a build before the official ones.

@anurr: Its nice to find out that its working perfectly for you.
