CloudFlare datacenters

I just wanted to highlight for CloudFlare usersthat CloudFlare has added new datacenters recently, including France and Dallas, which now brings us up to 10 CloudFlare datacenters (soon 14). We will soon have additional datacenters online for Asia and Europe that will help make things faster for your site visitors from those regions.

Hey there

How do qualify a IP to be "threat" . 2-3 people told me that they get the "captcha page ". If their pc has virus , you label it as "threat" ?

Hi extreme,

How we classify threats comes from a variety of CloudFlare data sources.

A couple of quick things:
1. If you feel too many visitors are getting challenged because of false/positives, you can change your security level (settings->CloudFlare settings->Basic Security Level->Change to desired level.
2. You can override our behavior by whitelisting IPs. Please check out these tips for managing your CloudFlare threat control.

Note: I would still recommend encouraging your visitors to still run an antivirus scan (most people don't know that they are infected).

I am getting false traffic on my site stats (500 visits a day) after installing Cloudflare.. but when I check on my Analytics, it's having the normal traffic of 3k-6k..

I don't know what your domain is. The most common reason for this is you need to add the www cname in your CloudFlare DNS settings (settings->DNS settings->Add CNAME for www as alias to domain->make sure cloud is orange).

Our traffic numbers are going to generally report higher numbers than Google Analytics because of the javascript issue. My hunch is that you're missing that CNAME in your settings and/or you don't have all of your web traffic subdomains listed in DNS.

I have remove your nameservers and my traffic stats are back to normal,

my domain is pinoy-warez.com

okay, I'll add that CNAME you're talking and update my nameserver as well.. we'll post results after 24 hours. thanks

Hi,

The domain currently isn't pointing to us & that makes it hard to check out. That being said, you should also make sure you aren't missing subdomains in your DNS zone file. While we can pick up common records easily during signup, any custom zones may have to be added manually.

To folks on the thread:

The new CloudFlare datacenter in Frankfurt is online.
Singapore will hopefully be online by the end of this week.

Great news for the asians!

Is there any issue with the rocket loader? It's been running fine, until few days back, now it doesn't do anything.

No issues with Rocket Loader I'm aware of re: not working. Definitely report any bugs here.

Note: As the feature is in beta still, please be aware that it may break some Javascript. If it does break any JS, please turn off and report to us so we can work on a fix.
