hey i know the owners and i know lifetalk/CM will give u it for sure man seeing that u wanna learn php and not rip or there site to pm them a few times

Size limit -> 10mb for single image, 100mb for a zip archive, 7mb for a remote upload image.

We don't delete images unless we get a DMCA takedown notice.
 
i think lulzimg rank will come to under 1000 within few months....

also mate, what's your monthly bandwidth costs..? and fixed rate or variable rate according to b/w (most of the cdn do)

The CDN is only used to serve site assets (site images, not hosted images. and css/js files etc). Other images are served via dedicated servers in a single location. Current costs of running LulzImg are about $225 for the data delivery server and $199 for the server that hosts the upload script/primary images. And about $10 a month for CDN.

The current code is too damn dirty. Your eyeballs would burst if you saw it. Once I re-code it, though, I might consider making it open source. This time, with a specific open source license! :|

$225+$199+$10 = $434 [fixed rate or vary with bandwidth usage]

also http://lulzimg.com/awstats is not working mate...

what about your total uplink/downlink....(100mbps or in gbps), because sure you need more

Note: please place atleast one google ads in home page of uploading and direct link showing page(so you get view during normal upload as well as direct upload using plug-in)

why not, beta test the ads in both page and post the result..we are here to comment about it...because we ended with Lulzimg and sure no way to other site(i think it's fully public, so i am using another site for porn)

(sure some guys will click your ad atleast once a week)

It's not supposed to work. Awstats are located in another location/url for analytical use. Me and CM have access to it.

Thanks for the suggestion - but no. LulzImg will stay ad-free for as long as I can keep it that way. When things get rough financially, I'll turn to ads or something viable.
 
Adverts are a no-go atm as like lifetalk said, he can financially provide for LulzIMG as-is. :D Also, me and lifetalk have started working on LulzIMG v3 with our newly found free time so expect it in January! =D :| (http://lulzimg.com/todo)

The drop in traffic towards the end is because I shifted the entire i0 branch (over 85,000 images and 13.5gigs of data) to another server that constantly averages 200mbps all day long.
 
We never delete images unless if we get a serious legit complaint for dangerous content (like childpr0n). Images uploaded don't have an "expiration date". :D Up 'till now, we didn't delete any images and we probably won't.

This is for viruz99 as his PM box is full. =/
