Hello , Is there any reliable web hosts for setting up my blog ?

- Been around for a few years
- Barely any complaints
- Affordable Cost
- High Performance
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- Very Little downtime

I also heard that some people were getting kicked out by their webhost for spending too much bandwidth etc.... Is it true ?

It is true some so called "unlimited" hosts do kick you off when you reach a certain limit. I'm not sure how they get away with that.

I'd recomend http://www.pipeten.com. I've used them for years, very reliable, great support and you get the full amount of bandwith that you are allocated with and that is also burstable.

If its a blog with no illegal content, go with a bit hitter because they have the most reliable service since they have bigger budgets...hostgator, 1and1, netfirms, godaddy, etc, etc

you are correct people can get "kicked out" for using too much bandwidth if they are on these "unlimited" plans.
If you have guaranteed bandwidth you should have no problems, unless there are other reasons for getting asked to leave. (such as high traffic -- that floods the web server, excessive resource usage, etc).

If you need help looking for a host, feel free to contact me on MSN (look on my profile) -- I'm sure I would be able to recommend a host for you.

I am looking for a reliable and affordable host for my upcoming blog as well. Almost all of the hosts that allow warez sites seem to have loads of complaints about downtime. Quality customer support is another major issue.

I would love to see more user opinions on which web host they think is the best. Gonna keep an eye on this thread.

I thought I was gonna go with Stablelayer; asked a question here at WJ at their sale thread, opened a support ticket as well but no response so far. I guess I will just wait and keep my eyes peeled for more user opinions on various hosts before I jump in.

Right,

I suggest you look around and get reviews before purchasing. Lately, there have been many movements. No doubt some companies out there are providing top notch hosting. So it's worth investigating via Google and hopefully finding some positive results.

Just my two cents.

If your looking for a really good uptime, go with a dedi or VPS....seems pretty much every shared host that allows questionable content has been having problems lately.
