What would you as an uploader want to learn

Hello,

as you guys might have noticed, i've made a new site and i'd love to write some tutorials about uploading methodes and everything related to uploading.

Scripts, tools, file hosts etc.

My question is; what would you as a newbie/pro uploader want to learn/learn more about?

It would help me if you tell me, so I can create these unique tutorials/answer your questions easily instead of spending time on tutorials no one really needs.

I'd like to learn more about leeching, erm. uploading. Why are people lazy nowadays to upload? When I say upload, I mean on real uploading. Not leeching something from real uploader with script. Is it right to put someone in Uploaders usergroup on your forum if he's leeching with some script and not uploading?

I assume that people are lazy because these scripts exists. If they wouldn't exists, people wouldn't be that lazy. But it's kinda funny to say that they are lazy when they spend hours on hours uploading.. erm, leeching

I totally agree man.. no one actually bothers to download files anymore,and in the case of apps when using shit like Rapidleech,they arent actually virus scanned anymore. I know when i upped apps i would actually download tehm and check them. all these uploaders these days arent actually uploaders at all,doesnt take much to have a script do everything for you

I think most people still copy the links into the script, waiting for it to download, re-upload, getting some info for theirs posts, getting the screens (automatic), finding a cover... When it's done, they start on the next one.

I might be completely wrong, but I guess this is the most common methode.

Thanks for the idea, I will write a decent tutorial on how to actually make a real upload

And if you actually do these virus scans, it would make your site unique (if you own one), because it's very rare that people do scan the applications these days and of course this would help you increase the visits and getting more members to sign up.

Well i was going to say because my upload speed always used to kill my net ( for like 30mins ) during/after uploading say a 100MB rar, but hopefully that will change now i've been upgraded :D

Waiting for download on VPS/RDA/RDP (I never used those shit scripts so I don't know how is it used, but it surely isn't used with their Internet connection). = few minutes.

We browse, take the links we want and put them in a box and a few mins later, it's posted in the website a neatly decorated format with our files inside the rar and on multiple filehosts.

So create a topic how to make most money out of your links

Maybe two or three uploaders will ever see this site. You will mostly have rapidleech and auto-uploaders as visitors.

A little off-topic here, but I remember back in the day our auto tool was to make accounts on sites like tripod lol An account usually lasted a hour or so before somebody (anyone and for free) had to re-up the 2.88mb files. Took a lot of accounts and files for a download and nobody expected a dime for it. Ahhhh memories before uploading and warez went to shit.

Big thing for them. It's almost same as pretending to be a Priest, and taking money from people because they think you're a priest. And in fact you aren't. You are just the fake priest, same thing is with uploaders. Uploading had some meaning, and I'm not trying to say that I'm some "old schooler" because I'm not. But I was on warez forums long time, and no one told them: "YOU DON'T HAVE A LIFE. YOU UPLOAD ALMOST EVERY DAY, YOUR PC IS TURNED ON 24/7" , etc.

Hell, if kids leaked good stuff I would kinda say It's ok... They leak good stuff, good movies not some overrated shitty movies. But most of you don't know 5 directors or writers? Could anyone of these uploaders tell me about 20 bands without Googling? 50 classic movies? best comedy movies ever? That's something that every uploader should know.

If you leak some random crap just because it gets you money, you aren't uploader. Just get over it, and don't call yourself with that name. It's stupid to give any rank to those leechers.

You sound like you got the whole idea of "uploading" wrong. Uploader is like a nickname or title for a person who shares his files on the internet. Uploader does not mean, you must share for free. You can't judge the way how a person wishes to share his files. So you're the one to "get over it" instead of telling how kids make money by uploading. I think you already know that there are always bad side and good side on everything, even in uploading. Some abuse the concept, some don't.

When you say, leechers are not uploaders. Well everyone has to get their source from somewhere. Some will get them by paying for them and some will download from another source, if you call those who download then you're just a pathetic warez user and not understanding the whole meaning of "sharing". We share what we get, both free or non-free lolz. We don't necessary share or "upload" only the things we paid for and not available everywhere else.

I don't know how BIG you think about "uploading" but, I think it as a simple sharing and it's just being abused by some. That's all.
