@ bachbell: You can only use 1 email per payment option. This means you cannot use bachbell@ema1l.com for 2 accounts as payment method.

You can however make 2 accounts for the purpose of using the space.

@ KeyChain & ItsmYard: We are fixing the remote issue. Someone bombarded us with 1TB worth of stuff.

Ricky since the time I started to upload in FS, this problem keeps coming, why don't you guys restrict on how much you can add in one day. Like RapidShare restricts it to 300 links per day and each file maximum 200mb. Something similar would be great and would solve the problem too?

Restrictions = people mad.
Slow remote = people mad.

We can't honestly please everyone. It's like people who thinks 500gb is too little, but want unlimited like HF. Or people who doesn't like captcha, but is willing to wait 10 min., vice versa.

We have fast remote and it has been running quite well just until this morning.

FYI, RS' remote upload doesn't even start immediately unlike ours.

But RS' remote upload is much faster, within 1 min, one movie is uploaded to RS using my RL. The fastest I have got in FS is like 4 or 5 mins. RS is far too established and likewise, it can't be compared. IMO, restrictions are good, in the start people might like it but later people get used to it.

We will find a way later to do restriction that doesn't affect people too much. Quotas should set the pace of not blocking and "bottle-necking" for the rest of you guys.

@ Gerner2010: Heh..compare 4 months and 2 days company with one that's been about for the last 5 years :D

Still Fileserve Remote upload sucks.

I today Tried to upload in fileserve via remote upload
but it got hang... I uploaded 200mb with 19 files and It done in 10min and still 5 files showing pending..

Second thing I already adviced to fileserve owner that plz change remote upload script but they didnot change still yet.. I m still saying that plz make it like Hotfile having. I hope they will do in future :)

How does Hotfile make their remote upload? 5gb quota? You can't even move your files over. When you have 5gb quota it screams of:
1. Too much control on users
2. Tightness with bandwidth/cost
3. Tightness with their "unlimited" storage.

Let me know on the above if you'd like a 5gb quota on it. The remote upload function is a PRIVILEGE, not a necessity.

I m Platenium Rank There :)

I got unlimited space
and second thing I use just 2gb and got per day 4$

I was just saying to you that change the remote upload script
other things r fine in Fileserve :)

All of those points may be true Ricky but uploaders want it actually working even with restrictions than not working at all without restrictions. Also, any idea when progress bars will be implemented to FS? =/

From what I have noticed... the remote upload in FS is pretty weird.

From my own experience, when I remote upload files from megaupload to FS, the speed is fast (insanely FAST!).

However, when I input direct links for files from my own server (which also has 100mbps line), it is extremely slow. It takes forever to start and finish (sometimes I ended up giving up and delete the transfers because it took that long).

Wonder if it is a bug, or that is how they designed the remote upload for FS. o_O
