I mean, can you name the part of your body which keeps/tells heart to keep pumping blood ?
The hypothalamus in your brain does that mate.

Science says that Universe was created due to the collision of atoms (Big Bang Theory)
But, Science hasn't been able to answer where did these atom came from ? and what existed before the Big Bang ?

So, there is God for sure :D
Yes, we don't know how exactly the universe was created, but this doesn't instantly mean that "oh yes there is a god, allah, wallah", it just means that we don't know how it was created.

I believe in evolution. Probably because I have studied biology and physics, and mainly because it is a proven fact. We, along with other animals, did evolve from a common ancestor. I can go into DNA inheritance, speciation, etc. but its boring and I cba.

I also believe that every religion is just like any "story" to control people's actions in life, e.g. people who believe in "good karma" will live a life being good. Religions also keep people at ease with death, so people don't fear death and so people believe that there is something after death. They make people believe in things that are not there.

To all Christians:
Day 1: God created Earth, space, time and light.
Day 2: God created the atmosphere.
Day 3: God created dry land and plants.
Day 4: God created the sun, moon, and stars.
Day 5: God created sea creatures and birds.
Day 6: God created land animals and man.
Explain this: how were there days when the sun and the moon were created on the 4th day?

I believe there is a higher power and there is a meaning to life, however I also believe in the chaos theory. Both contradict each other I know, but I believe in both spiritual and scientific theories, until one is proven wrong.

How about till one is proven right? I ain't here to judge but seriously look at it like this: Something which nobody has seen nor has proof of existance or gases which are actually capable of reacting with eachother and there's proof of them doing so.

He said he created them, but they weren't visible until the 4th day....

When did this topic change to pigs and muslims?

The question is simple, do you believe in god or not, regardless what religion you believe in, or not.

I wonder if I can start my own religion, I'd be an awesome prophet to be honest, first thing I'd do is connect everyone to an electronic system with a ban hammer, if you do something wrong you'll meet the hammer of doom.

Then I'll youtube everything, of course.

Establish a higher spiritual authority. This can be done through years of good deeds and serious religious scholarship or by claiming to either be in contact with aliens or channeling the spirit of some wizened soul. The former is kind of a pain compared to the ease of the other two options. The alien contact thing plays well to those fancying themselves too good for religion.

Create a general theory of life, the universe and the after-life. If this seems overwhelming merely snatch the basic spiritual tenets of the new religion from an old science fiction television show such as Babylon 5 or Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. There is a goldmine of material in the original Doctor Who series but this requires dealing with poor production values and British accents.

Attract followers, preferably through a really nice website with lots of Flash animation and inspirational stock photos. People love free stuff, so benevolently offer the basic text of the new religion in the form of a free e-book and then mention how expensive bandwidth can be and blatantly ask for donations. Do not forget to collect all of the e-mail addresses to sell to junk-emailers for a little cash on the side. Find some ugly pendants wholesale and sell them as the symbol of our space cousins.

Make an effort to answer every email. People want to feel connected and special and if it takes a minute or two to reply to some loser's email about the spiritual power of their cat to reel'em in, it is well worth it.

Deny that the new religion is a religion. Spiritual movement or cosmic awakening markets much better than religion. Another great buzzword is "exo-political movement." No one really knows what it means but it sure sounds important

Try really hard to get on a few paranormal radio shows. Start with the Internet radio and podcast groups first and slowly work towards the big, overnight shows. Be sure to offer all the listeners a free e-book and free shipping on their space pendants.

Pay all necessary taxes. Nothing takes down a new religion quicker than the IRS.

...............................................................................................................

I personally believe in god, but i'm not about to push it on anyone. I believe what I believe and no one has the right to talk down to me or try to make me believe otherwise. You can believe what you want to and in the end we'll all find out for ourselves.

So where did God come from? You will probably reply with something like "he was always there", its the same thing with the big bang theory, the atoms were always there.

Yes, me too I believe in God. But I'm at the stage where a believer sits on the "opposition" side of table. I hope you know what that means xD

EDIT: Guys, stop with your non-sense "GOD IS FAIRYTALE". Everybody who is believer has heard it enough. To be honest, I find believer more successful, have more purpose, and everything more positive than a non-believer who just born to enjoy their so called "life" and with the attitude of "I can do what I what, don't try to BS me, blahblah".

for the people whom do not believe in god how do you think we came to existence ? would be interesting on what you guys come up with as im quiet puzzled

@HaxoR, there are many things in the world right now came to existence from something else and that is not directly done by God. So we can't say we didn't come from God or we were generated by God. The answer is we don't know. For know believe what you want or not believe at all.

So say, Earth was formed after Nibiru's collision with another planet and scientists almost estimated bacterial life forms were one of the earliest or earliest life form on Earth. So they could also be from the planet Nibiru then transferred to Earth by mistake and probably the answers we are looking for may have been lost on Nibiru.

See, now the conversion changes. I'm just saying, there could be many many possible reasons about our existence :)

agreed but there could also be some kind of spirit i.e. GOD or something else up there whom created us but once again we havent come close to finding out anything. we might be living in a world created by another species :P who knows

Yes, I have several friends who claimed they've encounter ghost/spirit type situations. Some say they see a girl then vanishes right in front of their naked eyes. Again, I've some knowledge about how your own brain can attack you to see/visualize things that aren't real but make you see it as real as you're seeing your hands. So I don't know. It's very interesting and magical that our existence is beyond the complexity level we thought it'll be. :D

@mrsandvik

uhm it's not as simple as "the world made itself." :\ But from my understanding, I believe a very very powerful, smart person or whatever made the beginning and the rest goes on itself like this our vBulletin forum.

The vBulletin forum developers only created the forum script but they did not create this our very thread we're currently discussing on BUT it exists !!!! right? Get what I mean? ;)

Now that you come to mention ive encountered a child running around in my garden but when i blinked it vanished this happened 4 years ago that was quiet creepy at the time

and Mr Sandvik i dont believe the whole world could have been made by itself i might be wrong but i certainly don't believe that

Why can't it just be that simple? 8-)
