I came across a forum the one below
http://www.vbseo.com/f55/warez-forum-15621/

and someone replied with this
And actually, warez forums are against vBulletin's license also, so the site shouldn't even be running vBulletin

is that true because almost all warez forums are vbulletin

It goes both ways... If you ask them directly they will say that they dont care what you you can use vbulletin for anything since they are not responsible for the content. But they told me that i cannot link to my site on vbulletin.org and that i should not expect to see my site nominated no matter how fAntastic it is.

So they allow it but they dont support it

yes but if u asked them for help on your site they would. So they dont mind it as long as they dont advertise or support it directly.

As far as i know they don't help warez sites, but allow it to use the script (that's there main revenue IMO).

They dont provide support to warez websites, but when i asked for support for wrzboard they supported me. Probably because it doesnt have warez in the name :D .

WarezScene had its license revoked about 3-4 weeks ago, for being a "site that endorses warez directly". Pretty stupid, if they think they're going to stop us using vBulletin due to them being hardcore and revoking our license, they can think again.

But if you were to get the upgrade from vb.com from someone elses account and use the licence number they gave you when you first purchased it should still work from what i have heard. All they do is remove you account from the 'members area' but you license should still work if you are using the upgrade script.

I can imagine pirate reports sending you an email informing you of the nulled licence, same usual 24 hours bs, you reply back with the fact they revoked your licence. Owned.

Actually I had an incedent with nulled vb a while ago and was emailed by pirate reports and yeah I rememoved vb as I was hosted at a different DC then, but I registered them for my forum and now when ever send out a mass email they get the email, there responces all ways cheer me up :P

I belive they actually logged on and marked themselves as "Do not receive emails from administrators".... Now they cant say they dont visit warez sites :P

Lol Sorry I got off topic BTW.
