Honestly, trying to stream or generate previews "on the fly" directly from a 30-part 250GB ZIP archive is a massive headache. It will destroy performance, seeking/skipping will be impossible, and your Fire TV will just choke.

The only proper way to handle this:
  1. Keep the archives on a remote server and extract them once.
  2. Stream the extracted raw clips to your Fire TV. You can use direct FTP/HTTP to Kodi/VLC, or install Plex/Jellyfin. Plex or Jellyfin is ideal because it automatically generates those nice thumbnails/previews you want for your clips.
To hold 250GB of archives plus 250GB of extracted files, and have the CPU power to unpack and stream without buffering, a standard VPS like you might have right now just won't cut it.

We can provide full Dedicated Server for the price of a VPS - just €33/month
Intel Xeon E3, 16GB RAM, 1TB Storage, and a 1 Gbps port (50TB traffic). The 1TB drive gives you plenty of breathing room for both archives and extracted clips, and the 1 Gbps connection will stream raw data to your Fire TV flawlessly without breaking a sweat.

If you have any additional questions, DM me here or chat with our support on the website.

By the way, if you need a hand setting up Plex or Jellyfin, we'd be happy to help you with the installation.
