When I use Maximum Ads - 100% Earnings, your player has an ad that keeps downloading the Opera browser.

Could you send me a screenshot of it via pm?

And give me please some information

Which browser you are using
country from where you access our website
Adblock on/off

Please via pm

Do other people have the same Issue?
We are currently upgrading our server on the backend, there could be an chance that something went wrong.
Will investigate
It has been there since early June. The videos have the loading bar saying "It's processing, but you can watch it already", and I just recently found out that it's because the thumbnails were missing.

So I just got this email...

We want to inform you that we've terminated your account effective immediately.

Based on our Terms and Conditions - which you agreed on signup - we reserve the right to terminate an account in our sole discretion without prior notice.
We noticed an abnormal usage of our platform and you have been violating our copyright repeat infringer policy.

This decision is final. All files on your account have been deleted and we do not allow creating an account on our platform using new login details.

Best Regards
Streamtape

Are you serious? Your whole business model is piracy-as-a-service, but now you're gonna roll the dice a few times a day and ban a few random accounts presumably in an attempt to have some sort of legal cover? I'm sure that genius plan will totally work. This is 6 years worth of files gone without any notice. I guess I've been a "repeat infringer" for 6 years and either your ToS has to be violated a million times, or, more likely, like I said I'm one of the dice roll token bans. And if I'm a "repeat infringer", where was the warning email the first, second or w/e time I violated your ToS? At least with all the exit scam hosts you can usually tell it's coming. But apparently you'd rather play Russian roulette and randomly throw users under the bus without any warning whatsoever, which is even worse. All for something that won't even hold water legally. If a professional bank robber pretends to stop robbing banks after 6 years I somehow don't think the judge/jury would be all like "oh he's a changed person now let's ignore the last 6 years". The pretending here is not even convincing considering repeat copyright infringement is literally the only thing that happens on your platform. Nobody's using it to upload videos of their cats. So why not shut the site down and give users a heads-up so they can migrate? Oh right, because you want to keep milking that piracy-as-a-service tit despite all the LARPing in your ToS and the random bans. Truly pathetic.

Edit: Ignore this posts. It seems something went wrong

It seems you may not fully understand how this business works. Streamtape has not operated for 6 years just to suddenly “scam” its users or make some kind of exit. For more than a decade, file- and stream-hosters have been under constant lawsuits or pressure from rights holders. Streamtape was repeatedly listed on U.S. “notorious markets” reports, so it should hardly come as a surprise that enforcement measures eventually follow.

Remember Uploaded.net? They were also forced by legal actions to delete or suspend uploader accounts. The same situation can apply to Streamtape. Depends from where the owner operates from. Probably from Europe.

The reality is that hardly any filehost or streamhost survives long term today. As soon as a platform grows too large, it becomes a primary target for authorities. Acting like this is unexpected ignores the history of this entire sector.

The real winners are those who move on and run their own infrastructure instead of relying on third-party hosts. This business model is already exhausted. Like a lemon being squeezed until the last drop.

It seems you might not be aware that I've been around this scene for longer than most people here have been alive. Trust me when I say I know full well how this business works. I also know how non-PaaS video hosts work and operate. And I know about the legal pressure. If he had a change of heart he'd shut Streamtape down b/c again like I said it's a piracy service. And even if he truly wanted to change that and go fully legit he'd have something like a 3-strike system with warnings and the ability to appeal, and implement content fingerprinting a la Google/Youtube's Content ID to help deal with copyright infringement. You don't see any of that. Why? Because with all of that implemented Streamtape would lose money instead of make money. So instead he's chosen to start fucking over his users while trying to hide behind the ToS and hoping people are brain dead enough to eat it up. This situation is beyond transparent. And again, if anyone thinks random token bans will somehow create legal cover for what I just outlined, I have a bridge to sell you.

Hey,

There seems to be an mistake. We are moving data right now and users with alot of views / long time member should have been informed, that there could be some files which are not available for a few hours.

For some reason these accounts which should have gotten that email got banned instead. This will be reverted within 4hours and all files will be restored

Well thank God for that at least. Not sure how maintenance can turn into a mass ban oopsie, but w/e I guess. Ignore my previous two posts.
