How fast/slow is your internet connection?

I just noticed that in all my wisdom I made 2 options which are actually the same, the last 2. <_<

Is this your "router" details? IE, the speed your router says you have?

Either the speed your ISP advertises or the actual speed you get (IE via speedtest etc).

My 20 mbps connections make my pc slow when I download sumthing...



Alliance is the worst service they provide...

If ur from Kol then go for meghbela they give upto 4 mbps under cheap plans or if ur from Chen then go for railwire they proide 32 mbps connection which are cheap enough...

I just took a connection from the local "cablewallas" (cablewallas = common name in India for cable operators )

Took their 1 mbit unmetered plan.

Well you can also say TATA is providing 100 Mbps home internet connection, but that makes no sense. Most of slow speed internet users are from India.

India ranks 128th in downloading speed.

And where in India are you from?

You say you have 16 Mbps(Airtel), 20 Mbps (Reliance) connections.....

16 Mbps or 20 Mbps plans have very limited usage allowance here considering the speeds.

Also to be very honest, internet speeds have found a good ground in India over the last year only. Before 2-3 years also people would be more than happy with a 256 kbps connection here.
