if you think blogs are for losers, you've already failed.
Not really. I've now raised the bar to over 30 USD per day and none of that money comes from a single blog. My strong point are forums.
I see people here saying things like "find a micro niche", "get some (cheap) quality writers", "get links from high PR sites", "...".
And the truth is that all these advices are no good if your site is just gathering dust or you are struggling like crazy to get some unique visitors.
Oh and no.. it's not blogs or forums that lose/win. It's the people behind them.
What on earth is a blog?
It's a place where you "blog", can't you as a person "blog" inside a forum as well?
If you start thinking out the box, you'll realize that forums are good not just for blogging but also to gather the thoughts or more people inside your own space. This is far better than comments because the new forum posts get a life of their own and something not easily achievable for blogs.
So, you only need to work on getting the forum active and keep on posting relevant articles as before, but the payout revenue can be much better.
Self promotion.. yesss.. I see that..
I'm here to work hard and partner with other folks who want to make money. I don't believe in overnight success or wild advices that do you no good.
What I've written before is simple. I already have a good domain and a good structure to build new forums. There's a lot that one person can do but I can't do everything on my own and the more people joining in, the better the odds of success than trying to kickstart a fresh new site out of the blue.
If you see it as self-promotion, sure, I'm a fighter. I don't waste time seeing good opportunities flying by.
