Hi,

Since past 1 month we have been getting a lot of requests to add support for filehosters
in our program NeembuuUploader.

NeembuuUploader is a java based free and open source software which allows user to upload
files to various filehosts like mediafire.

One of our users told me that the reason for increase in requests was because some
popular software turned out to be a phishing tool and he gave me a link to a wjunction thread on this topic.

When I came to wjunction and read what people discussed in that thread, I realized that
there were many people who got scammed.

Pardon me for my bluntness, but what I do not understand is,
why do people use such proprietary software, instead of using,
encouraging and contributing to free and open source software?
Probably because we didn't do much advertisement,
or maybe because we support less than 1/5th the
number of hosters other programs support.

Please help us in improving NeembuuUploader instead of getting scammed.
Suggestions, remarks, tips, criticism would be highly appreciated.

Below is a list of a some of the filehosts that we support :

Our website link is : Neembuu Uploader

Thanks for reading

Offtopic:
because this project is one of the best, you will get donation from big filehosts soon.

I also have no problems about donating. In fact that's what I immediately did when I started using zoom. After testing it out a bit I realized just how very well made it was and the sheer time and effort it takes to keep track and maintain and update all these hosts. Even though my usage didn't require me to donate at all and I could perfectly use it as free user mode, but it's one of the few times I actually felt that this deserved some monetary support.
So, naturally I won't have problems supporting Neembuu, but only if the functionality improves than this.

Why not just make something very similar to zoom?
It already works pretty well, and being opensource there should be opportunities for more improvements.

@SeeingMole
Copying zoom is not an issue at all.
Frankly speaking you guys wouldn't believe that we have been working on Neembuu since past 5 years.
And 5 years of rigorous development.
You might think 5 years and we make such simple application with so little features.

Actually NeembuuUploader is 1/5th of the software that we have been working on.

We are planning to release another 1/5th soon, this part is called NeembuuNow.

NeembuuNow was such a big big big challenge that I might not be able to explain why.
I can show a demo, it would be completely off topic however.

After all that work I am exhausted.
I guess we made too big plans to execute at once.

I never worked as hard on Neembuu Uploader as Neembuu.
People worked on it off and on as time permitted.
Once you are in a regular job it becomes very difficult, and after all this you wish to have life.

Here is a demo of Neembuu Now.
neembuu-release1

It will work on windows. On linux it works, but you will have to install pismo file mount manually.

And NO it is not a downloader.
Downloader = 1/3 of NeembuuNow
JPfm = 1/3
NVirtualFilesystem = 1/3 of NeembuuNow

Some stuff still in development and not in current version
Virtual merging of 001, 002 hjsplits and watching + downloading at the same time.

is it possible to make it upload files from remote server instead of just local.

I just opened a ticket for this feature. It will be added in the future.

normally filehost support these 3 upload methods:
Browserupload, Remoteupload, FTP-Upload

i mean urls links (http) that get paste in the filehost Remoteupload page.
is it possible to make these links upload to different filehosts thru remoteupload page.

NeembuuUpload would need to download the files and then upload them if you want something like that you should try rapidleech or something like that.

i have rapidleech, reason i want to see this feature is so that i can store all the filehosts login info locally instead using rapidleech auto upload which store all logins at their server.
or is there already have such program/script that can upload a rapidleech to a multi-hosts at one go, right now i have to paste the link to each host remote upload one by one.

Hmm.. why aren't anyone crying foul at rapidleech for storing username & password in their servers?

Even though there hasn't been uncovered any foul play about this (yet), the potential for abuse is still there.

Everybody and their brothers has been warned not to use zoom because all usernames and passwords are apparently sent to him, but now it seems rapidleech is no more different.

when you fix uploaded.net
and working from your windows is pathetic...I make big rar file, it take some time, but i opened on that window, after adding new rar files not updated...need some huge improvement on interface.
you UI and functions like old days like XP....
This is huge opportunity to accept your software after zoom scam.
Don't need to work with your other Neembu project, just concentrate to improve change make plugin more....

@colie
Making a proper remote uploading interface will take time.

What we can do in shorter time is make a commandline interface.
So what you can do with it is, first upload files using FTP/SFTP to your server.
FTP is a nice option, as you can resume broken uploads.

Then you could run some bash scripts to upload those file to the desired host.
How would that be for starters ?
Or if you dislike commandline, you could probably operate NeembuuUploader using vncview.

We can then work on a remote server interface, which is definitely take a little while.

if u guys already using these tools at least force filehosts to give you separate ftp accounts with different usernames/passwords than your account

hi,
after uploading to a rapidleech server they only provide a http download link so you can paste into all the filehosts remote upload that all.
or use their auto upload (i don't want to use this) which can upload to multihosts but all logins info enter is store in their server.
so for your program what i mean is, instead of choosing a file locally to be upload to multihosts, i choose the http download link provide by the rapidleech service.
