Why would you not want the links to be hyperlinked?

Again if you can't do that then fine, I'll find another alternitive.. I don't want hyperlinks on my forum period...

Yes but with my script, the anchor text will always equal the href... So theres no possibility for phishing

Use this instead then http://www.wjunction.com/showthread.php?t=20247 as it doesn't make the link active or clickable on your site.

Ok your loss. I don't see why people are so strange when it comes to hyperlinks. :/

EDIT: oops, not so perfectly working. As example:

here are all working download links, but this tool doesn't like them and showing as dead

Yeah, uploading have always been a problem. I don't think they like the huge amount of connections. Not sure what I can do about this tbh.

You could make it to check only one uploading.com file, or just disable it It would be better, than showing live links as dead ones.
And please add sharingmatrix.com support if possible
