short question, is a debit card terminal different from a credit card terminal? the store cashier said they would not accept my payza-issued prepaid card because it is a debit card (the phrase 'debit' is printed on it) but they have a terminal for credit card and accepts credit cards only (besides cash). i did not argue with her. is she dumb? i used it in other stores and they accepted it without hesitation. is debit card terminal different?

That is ETFPOS terminal, that is used in stores. It's also called Mini ATM. You cannot withdraw cash from it, but you pay purchased stuff.

Just pick your cash on ATM and pay with cash, lol

Maybe it's problem because it's foreign card, (foreign currency), so money transfers are more expensive?

actually it's thriftier to use the payza prepaid card for cashless POS terminal payments than do ATM withdrawals. the fee for ATM withdrawal is $3 USD + around ~$5 charge from my country for international ATM cards whilst with cashless POS terminal payments, the charge is around 2% only.
