Review: Msimson Wordpress Theme

Designing logos and other gfx work for my self and for others for a while now thinked to start practicing on themes too.

Here is the theme.

I am not good at rating so I would skip that part

shrinking the spaces between post boxes and sidebar

Good work on your first theme.
I'd say you are almost good in this, with a few changes you can have an awesome theme.
eg:

you could have used better posters instead of the above vectors, it is not matching well with the background.
and also the arrows on left and right, try changing them to a bit sleeky one.
and the color scheme could be better, its pretty dull right now.
change the logo as well.
overall 7/10 (y)

Well, since you're a beginner and its your first work, I would definitely give it 10/10. Keep going and you can see the progress.

congrats on your first design sammy, really nice. my only suggestion would be to not to use non-repeating background images. it makes coding the theme hard and the end result will load slowly. besides that, great work
