Quick Edit Not Working

Hey guys,


Im using IPB 3.2.3

Well... When i click Edit on any topic , the editor loads up without page changing without any problem...

But the quick editor's Cancel, Use Full Editor buttons does not work.. When i click them nothing happens

And when i click submit its giving " TypeError: Cannot call method 'getText' of undefined" Error...

I tried another theme but the error is there with other themes too...

I also dont think its a browser problem as the other IPB forum editor's work without any problem...

I would suggest trying turning off minify JS in th admin setings (I believe under general).

DO you have any warning errors in the dashboard??

Is this a ripped theme?

Looks to me it is, maybe it's so badly ripped they missed half the main parts to make it work.

@ Lock Down... I tried that but didnt change anything

@GeeZus.. its not only this themes problem.. as i stated above i tried using another theme... Uniform.. it same with that as well...

Can anyone test out using the test acc for me?? it couldnt be some problem for me.. but i tried different browsers too....

Try simply to rebuild the cache.

@GeeZus i dont have default theme.. I removed it by accident..

I reinstalled public/js files again...

Still the problem exsits

I already recached all files.. and for pm your first link had the problem solved and they didnt tell the solution.. and the second link problem got solved when they turned off minify..

I already turned off minify...

So anyone got any other solutions??

i dont have default theme.. I removed it by accident..

Might be as simple as a hook or app thats not compatible with your IPB version.

Found this in the now installed default skin/theme. Its the same in all posts with all accounts/profiles.

If you tried and tried and nothing still seams to help I strongly suggest you try to contact Lock Down and point to this thread as he's one of the best on IPB here on WJ. Might be the same person on forumcore.

Other then that the only final solution I can think of right now is to create a ticket with IPS unless your using a nulled version. :D

Im using FS nulled version so cant ask for support on official site..

I will try disabling all the hooks..

EDIT: i tried disabling all the hooks then recached everything.. That also didnt help at all...
