Mukki.org closing down

It shows one thing and one thing only. They were in it for the money as the reason they are closing is they can no longer make money from file hosts. This shows it's not a true warez site. Will rlslog, oneddl, warez-bb etc be closing because of the file hosts issue? Of course not. And why? Because they are real warez sites.

I wonder how many wannabe warez forums will die in the coming weeks...

I've already seen a really big drop of user registrations & topics per day on PlatinumW.org (graphs) but I'm not going to close it :| I still have people that visit my forum to download and I'll serve them as long as I can :) My intention was never to make money out of warez.
 
I don't think anyone who visited that blog, and downloaded from mukki, doesn't give a slice of shit for them being 'cashwhores'. But I find it funny, that n00bs, who don't know how to keep their servers alive without filehosts, even managed to make top blog, that was always 1st in google. They had a huge traffic.
Traffic=money. No need for payed filehosts.

RLSLOG...From Fileserve, Filesonic, over past few days, changed every single host there is, and ended up with ORON, Ul.to, and FileFactory??!! Where the fuck are Rapidshare links? What exactly makes Oneddl, rlslog and MUKKI different IN ANY POSSIBLE WAY??? NOTHING!

So, lemme clear things up here:

Are cashwhore people who use paying filehosts? Or people who use advertisement in their blogs (websites), to keep them alive? Warez-bb HAVE advertisement! So, it makes them CASHWHORES AS WELL!
Is having a donate button on website, being CASHWHORE TOO?
What makes one website non-cashwhore?
Only if someone takes money out of his pocket to invest in something illegal,that can't sustain itself?
Is that man: naive/complete idiot/good guy ?

I don't think that is the whole truth. They have substantial running costs and they chose to have an ad-free site. There was no other way they could have afforded to maintain it without filehost affiliation.

That being said, they could introduce adverts now to sustain in, but from what I understood from their news post, they believe the situation is too hot for them to continue.

The next few months will definitely sort the men from the boys.

I can't tell if thats a compliment or a dig at us. We have always provided Rapidshare links and will continue to do so. Whatever other hosts our editors want to use is entirely up to them.

Oh and FYI, OneDDL has not been signed up to filehost affiliate programs for a good year now.

Where did i even mentioned the term "cashwhore" in my post.

If a website is using money from filehosts instead of ads then you say it as a cashwhore forum? Can't he use that money to pay for the server bills?
 
Whole point of my speech is that hypocrisy is blossoming here. Calling mukki cashwhores, and raising other websites, like they are any different.
It's like: oh Mr Happy said they are cashwhores, so it must be true. Oneddl isn't, he said that too. So it must be true.

@ okone, no dig at you, I know website can't be run on it's own. But I guess Mr Happy have problems with understanding that.

EDIT: see, if he said I am noob, that must be it, I am noob. :facepalm:

EDIT2: For your information, Mr Happy, mukki didn't had at ANY point of time, ANY ads, as second income, to sustain servers and website.
While other websites you mentioned, DID. Oneddl have ads, warez-bb have ads, rlslog have ads. MUKKI NEVER HAD.

Again you are failing to read the content of the topic and replies. I never said that oneddl was a cashwhore. Please don't say I said something when I didn't. I said they are a real warez site. That doesn't mean they aren't a cashwhore. Re-Read what I said again carefully.

I have no problems understanding. It's you that has problems reading.

You didn't said oneddl is cashwhore, you said mukki is, and oneddl isn't. So I ask you again, WHAT MAKES MUKKI DIFFERENT FROM ONEDDL?

MUKKI used payed filehosts, never had ads.
ONEDDL using payed filehosts, HAVE ADS.

So, what makes ONEDDL different?

Your speech is pointless, because you are applying term cashwhore on MUKKI, and other websites, who are doing the same thing, you are raising them to sky.

WOW only because I've sold like 10 adspots on platinumW in my whole life makes me "I run warez forum for money"? WTF dude, the links were sold for max $5 per month... Server is €56 / month... Oh yeah, I sold the ads to profit from warez -_- wtf!!

And cvrle is right, cashwhores aren't people that try to cover their server costs with some fucking ads :/
 
I am against calling any website, that provides free download links, no matter which filehost it is, or use ads, a cashwhoring site.

My speech is with ironic note toward Mr Happy's comment, that mukki was a cashwhore site.

He's waving with that term, even though it is reserved ONLY for uploaders, that spam every warez forum using autoposters, with payed filehosts, where you are forced to buy premium account, to download something.

THAT is a description of term 'cashwhore.'

I laughed my ass off with that.

You accuse them that they are cashwhores when their site obviously has no ads for income.And their server bills are high enough?Whats wrong with that?

Also is rlslog a real warez site??xaxa i dont remember rlslog offering free fast host..only cashwhore hosts.wupload,fs.fso etc..

Trust me,there is not even a single site/forum/torrent that lives on its own.You guys believe that warez is for free.nothing is for free.
