what if somebody bought a few to start a megaupload site? I mean for $15 each seems kinda low for a file hosting site. Could it really support it or would there be a lot of downtime?

the only possible location was ecatel for the plan like this. worldstream wont allow hosting of illegal files . then where u host . hetzner.de wont allow illegal files

Well i wanted this to be mostly for TorrentFlux, i just added the other things because they are possible.
Yes you would be able to have your own file hosting site

And yes that is really the bandwidth.

I said i might start this because i do not know all the information yet, my mate and i are just planning and he has not told me the datacenter. But i can assure you that you can host illegal files

is there a custom plan? 15gb is too low for me. I need at least 50gb space, and I'll pay extra. I'm looking for file storage

is that on a vps. whats the processor speed and how many other users would there be on the server.

All of our servers are i7's or better. (some are quad cores)
Since we do not oversell, each server has a maximum of 10 clients.
Most of the time we only put 8 or less. Depending on what we have on that server.
We leave a cushion of about 1 - 2 gb ram on each server, just in case something happens we have extra ram to take the load.

Soon we will have downloads to test the speeds
