Shut down his Pay Pal? He is not soliciting any donations what so ever. In fact, quite the contrary. People have been wanting to donate since he started and he refused. The response was so overwhelming that he dicided to take some in because people were forcing it up him.

You are just mad.

No just certain types of porn. CP is a complete no go. Then there are things they are very wary of. All the rules of the processor are in the TOS. Anyone who has ever signed a contract will understand what this means. I did the ground work when this first blew up and saw the problems legal porn sites have. Processors getting their ability to do business with Visa, pulled out from under them isn't unknown. Go do the research. Not certain on this, many companies might ask if you've had an account pulled and why. They will want to know makes sense.

You really can't get this through your thick skull can you? The hosts are not willingly hosting child porn on their servers. The users that use the file locker are uploading the material, and you can't assume that the material is CP.

"There is a clear precedent on point US v. X-Citement Videoes in which the Supreme Court held that the federal criminal law on child pornography distribution requires scienter (actual knowledge as to the age of the depicted persons) on the part of the defendant."

You really can't get it through your thick head. This is about breaking the rules Paypal apply and has ZERO I will repeat that a few times so you get it.
ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO
To do with any law or something that will be decided in a court.

Now if Filemates want to go to court that is open for them. However Paypal will drain them of all their money and then wipe the floor with them. Now I cannot be certain as I haven't seen the contract that signed with Paypal. I only saw tho one's I have signed. They are very well written be a team of lawyers, they ban many things including words that can be used, they also ban pornography. RsFK, when was the last time you signed a commercial contract with Paypal to have an account that was clearing $1,000s a day? Or even a month.

Why oh why does everyone keep flogging the police, courts, laws dead horse?

Bitcoin? Worst idea ever for a filehost.

These filehosts have no interest in the user, the quality of service or anything; only their income. Now, do you really think regular internet users are going to waste their time purchasing an account on some crappy ad-filled filehost with BITCOINS? Come on man, think logically.

Do you think many people will bother to exchange real money to bitcoins? At the beginning? It's not common, if anyone decides to accept such payments, has to make people get used to it and tell them it's safe and fast way.

Do you really think the court really give two shit about some companies TOS? Also I've made thousands a year selling domains using a PayPal account so don't give me that bullshit.

maybe not popular now but if all filehost only accept bitcoin downloaders have to get used to changes

No, this is not how it works.

If all filehosts switched to bitcoins, users would stop visiting them completely. All these hosts would die off in a matter of weeks, possibly even days. They would make zero sales, uploaders would make zero earnings, they would die.

Users are perfectly happy with the likes of rapidshare and other such professional filehosts, the only reason they use others is because that is where the content is at.

Uploaders are the one and only reason any paying filehosts are alive. If you can't pay the uploaders, you are dead, because you cannot compete with professional hosts in any other way.

People do upload this content, i found one post posted somewhere it shouldn't have been once by accident & googling his username is was all he done 24/7.

I reported about 500 of his links to filehosts and they were being re-uploaded faster than they were reported so reported to the FBI & they didn't seem to do anything.
So i hacked his web hosting and deleted his own site, accessed his file host accounts and deleted files and accessed his twitter account and posted his postal address.

I would guess all this content is back but i dont want to even look as it makes me sick

Really proud of you...Good work
U have all my admiration.

It will not go to court unless Filemates take it there. Then they will need a reason to sue Paypal, if they try to sue on the basis that they kept to the law, Paypal will count er with. We didn't cancel your account we cancelled it because you broke the terms of the contract you signed.
Now go read the contract you signed and see what it says if you break it.

Paypal taken to court because they refuse someones business? hahaha... thanks for the laughs :D

Let me dumb it quite a bit down for you...

Wearing shorts is not illegal but if a restaurant has a "no shorts" policy you either adhere to it or you are not getting in. as simple as that.

Hello Mr. Dumbass,

I never signed a contract with PayPal, but I did agree to their TOS, which is totally different matter. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

No, thank you for the laugh. It seems like you need to take some English classes.

You two guys can stay on the sinking ship while I watch from shore laughing, for failing to adapt to the times with the rest of the Adult Entertainment industry.

AK's efforts are useless and PayPal is just going to be in the same boat as you guys.
