How fast is your internet? (ONLY FOR INDIANS)

I am on BSNL's Home UL 750 Plus. I pay Rs. 750 per month for getting 256 Kbps (32 KBps) unlimited broadband access. I want a connection which is faster + cheaper. :(

Forgot to mention :
Well, I'm paying Rs. 500/- per month. No taxes and unlimited :D
Speeds increases randomly.. I do get 8 Mb/s at some night hours :D

Internet quality should be enhanced in India.. Big companies should come forward...
There'll be much appreciation from the users :)
We know most Indians are now accessing web.. So the facilities should be developed too :|
Well, I recently heard that Bhathi telecom got permissions to lay cables across the ocean for direct connection to EU countries.
If this happens, we may land up in better internet world :)

No objection :D But only Indian users' speeds will be considered as this thread is just about th speeds of Indian internet users :D

They change it in the account and in the bills. But sometimes forget to change/decrease the speed when you change the plan. It happened to me once, but I am not using BSNL now due to poor service.

If you still say that it is not so, how did you hack it?

My friend is admin of BSNL Multiplay Servers (y)
i.e. the server which has users with IP 117.xxx.xxx.xx
