 I am receiving many pms from Uploaders that dont know what to do, for File hosts, so up to now, this is what I have found

MEMBERS DO NOT PANIC, we are working on this with the Uploaders to resolve it. They will work with FileHost servers in countries, OUTSIDE the US and no connection to the US

Even without SOPA, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) has already launched extradition proceedings against Richard O'Dwyer in the UK. O'Dwyer hosted the TVSHack.net website which had links to material elsewhere and did not host any files. ICE has stated that it intends to pursue websites even if their only connection to the USA is a .com or .net web domain.

based on the great work ladybbird1 and the others here I have signed up for

All these sites have affiliate programs and pay via webmoney or paypal, they also allow USA ips

I was hoping that I could transfer my filesonic files to all sites by remote upload. Filesonic says we can download our own files with our own premium accounts, so you would expect I could use remote upload on the three sites I have chosen to get my
filesonic files but it hasn't worked. However I can still download to my own computer if I first login to filesonic using my premium account and then enter the url for my files. I had saved a list of all my file urls before the affiliate program was discontinued, so I'm using those urls, because I can no longer get urls from my filemanager on filesonic.

I used filesonic's help ticket and submitted this request:

how do i download *my* files? I can see files in filemanager, but clicking on filename does not download and no urls are shown?

However I think the FBI would be very busy and wont have time to check every single site for links about this subject. It is my site and this one that I am concerned about,,,they end .com I will be speaking further to GoDaddy about this and will let you guys know their reply, I have already had one reply from their CEO;

My many Uploaders on my site (in my Profile for more updates and info) are using some of these below. They have investigated some and consider them safe and the affiliations good

Why dont you behave like a well mannered polite member. He was only trying to help.

I have spent many days preparing and updating these lists and updates to help everyone, so your negative replies attacking other helpful members is NOT appreciated. Im exhausted with doing this and trying to run the sites I own, so mistakes will be made.

Why dont you go and join Filesonic (Owned by FIleserve) forums. Im sure they would appreciate having members like you on there. After all look at all the thousands of US$ they have robbed from people that bought Premium and they wont refund now.

So be nice, helpful and postive. :P

Thanks so much for spotting that kerzol, Im so glad you did, I was interrupted (yet again) when updating that list and didnt finish the update on that one. NO it is NOT safe and I have amended it. I have discovered that the US have just extradited a Brit from another country that was running sites and because he was a Brit, they obliged.
That rapidgator.net has ties to the US through Britain. :O

So basically, any filehosting companies owner, who's website ends in .com, .net or the other one (I wish I could remember it), can be prosecuted under US law, no matter where they live, if their country has an extradition treaty with the US, and that's why they are all suddenly getting jittery.
