Choose Your Own Self Core I3 is New And Core 2 Quad is Old Release Not Too Much Old But Released Before Core I3 But I Prefer Go With Core 2 Quad.
Core I3 Has Max 4MB Cache Which Is Equal to Core 2 Duo 4Mb Cache There Some Little Bit Defrences Between Core 2 Duo & Core i3 Only Differences Of Buses In Both Machines.
Now Core 2 Quad Is Better Then I3 It Has 6Mb Minimum Cache and it is Server Machine So Kindly Go With Core 2 Quad if You Want To See The Performance Go With Core 2 Quad If You Want To Go With Latest Technology Buy i3 But it is True That Quad Is Better Then i3 In Cache Performance.
For me Nvidia in Price its expensive but i love it so much ATI is also good cheap in price never used till now but i prefer buy nvidia dont see cheap cards buy the quality cards.
Dude Be Patient Buy i5 Because Its Better Then Quad And i3 it has max 8Mb cache which is higher then quad leave i3 go with performance and latest technology if you have budget then simply but i5 leave others.
Depends on what you will be using your computer for and your budget. If you are not doing video encoding or 3D rendering or gaming, anything other than a Core 2 Duo processor is a waste of time.
i3 is nothing but a dual core processor. i5 is the real quad core but its upto you to decide whether you need it or not.
Go for the i5 2500 i will buy an i5 2500k myself, this new processors are the best.
But be carefull this new processors are using different socket 1155 with chipset
-H67 (OC doesn't work but you can use the GPU integrated in the processor)
and
-P67 (OC does work but you can't use the GPU integrated in the processor)
See here for more http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy_Bridge
I recomend you an i5 2500k the difference in price is not much from i5 2500.
k= unblocked multiplicator (for OC)
