Because once again in their eyes you don't own rights to the movie trailer so your in violation. I don't agree with this but this is why they are complaining

YouTube is getting sick. If you don't live in the US, you will face many issues, like "This Video is not available in your country". It sucks, honestly.

The problem is that even if it is a trailer, it does not belong to you. You didn't make the trailer, so you don't have the rights to post it.

Regards,

You're generalizing this whole YouTube thing now. They were always removing music, movies and trailers on REQUEST. That means if the production house asks for removal they will remove it, but if they don't. They won't remove it. You can still find TONS of movies in parts uploaded few years ago, trailers and such.

i uploaded recently a f1 race trailer( like a short 1 min bbc clip...)remember bbc is fta..and those guys removed my video,because the title had 'f1' in it ..

In a few more years I think a different video host will over take youtube. Veoh came close a few years back but ended up giving up.

@Sp32
You won't see that happenin' , YouTube achieved some sort of a cult status. It became the #1 place for finding the music, everywhere in the world. And not only the music, it has everything, funny videos, hate videos, self injury videos, everything. And some other video site would need at least 5-6 years to achieve the same thing.

A lot of people thought AOL search was going to remain top for a while then Google overtook it. The amount of restrictions on YouTube is unbelievable nowadays.. Vevo bullshit, 30 seconds + advertisements etc

But still, I agree; it'll probably take around 5-6 years but I still think it'll happen
