When Xerver.co absorbed filegrasper's debt with FileOM they absorbed the debt owed to FileOM's affiliates.

Xerver.co is paying outstanding hosting debts within 24 hours according to this post: http://www.wjunction.com/102-file-host-affiliate-discussion/193127-6.html#post2015717

Xerver.co needs to pay the outstanding debt for FileOM's hosting costs at an equal ratio to paying the outstanding debt for FileOM's affiliates.

Its that simple. You guys pay what is owed, and then we can determine whether or not we would like to continue our affiliation with you via Xerver.co This is the only acceptable solution that I see as being fair.

If Xerver.co does not have the capital on hand to pay out the affiliates and FileOM's outstanding hosting costs then Xerver.co either needs to seek outside investment capital and/or cut their losses with FileOM in order to not impact the namesake of Xerver.co

Hi Peter

As stated, we have not taken over Fileom. We have a proposal that affiliates need to agree to before we agree to the take over.

Because of the huge debt that Fileom is in, we cannot risk paying out all affiliates without some form of commitment from them.

So we are currently not liable for any debt, we are trying to make the best of a really crap situation. We are trying to give the affiliates an opportunity to get their money and continue earning with our platform. That is our offer to Fileom's affiliates.

Regards

Rory

i see sense. Peter, i agree with you also but you cant ask xerver to give us 100k and then risk for us to leave. practically, they buy us as affiliates. they give us what we earned with fileom in 10 months, they pay us regulary (twice a month) what we earn from now on with them, and so xerver gets a new big set of affiliates. in simple words...this is the deal. he gets fileom's affiliates with the promise that if we work for him like we worked for fileom, he will pay us the fileom debt. i personally see no disadvantage here. is like moving to a new host wich remotely takes all my links and i get a chance to get my money from fileom. that is it. this is the whole complicated deal.

It is the first time I see this. What usually happens is that the filehost closed and the owner takes the money and disappears in a beautiful Caribbean island. That's what we are used. Recently maxisharing, rocketfile, crisshare and redload.

The situation is very simple, or make a deal to get some of our money, or we are left with nothing.

advice: Call the biggest forum, tell them to get allowed (make deal), pay the affiliate all at once then be ready for loyal and dedicated affiliates!
otherwise you are just sharing the acquired filehost bad karma.
Salut!

If the merger with Fileom gets approved, all the files, storage, rates, premium accounts and user limits will be transferred to Xerver.co

Your account will be the same on Xerver as it has been on Fileom.com.

Best Regards

Rory

What about being an uploader in both? Do you merge my users or what? And still, are we going to upload to xerver only from now on?

@anurr
please remove some messgae in your ibox, its full, not able to send any pm.

i think we have to upload directly to xerver, but wait for official announcement, as they're still not moved files..?

If all the download links stay alive, I'll continue using Fileom/Xerver as my main host for sure. Good luck!

On a side note, will FTP uploading still work?

Dear Rory,

I really require a reply on this.

How do you factor in smaller uploaders who don't make daily sales as such, but sales come more randomly?

We can continue this in PM if you so desire. I presently have a pending payout in fileOM as well as an aggregate sum I can't yet request.

Same with Xerver proper.

What will happen to all this?

Thanks.

I would also like to know what will happen to the smaller uploaders an their pending payouts.

I think it's pretty simple. If there is no merger then I have no chance to get any of my money & it will be a long time before anyone will buy premium from me again.
If they merge then at least I have some chance of getting my money and my reputation with my downloaders stays intact and allows me to keep earning at the same level.
That's assuming xerver is going to honor the premium accounts currently held by fileom customers.

Make the deal and those who want to keep earning and also have a chance to get money already owed to us will. Those who don't can cut their loses and move on. That's just less money that xerver has to worry about paying out.

Whatever is going to happen needs to happen quickly because having to sit here doing nothing until a decision is made isn't helping anyone.

To those worried whether xerver will keep their end of the bargain or not are looking at this the wrong way.Even if xerver makes a couple payments then closes or stops paying the 10% you're going to come out with more than you went in with. You can then move on and be in a better position than you are right now.

Well, as I'm affiliated with both, I'd agree to continue.

I just need to know how precisely are smaller uploaders affected (i.e. if it even makes any business sense to continue, as it were).
