I'm unable to download anything, whether it be my files or someone elses. I type in the captcha, and keeps saying wrong captcha.
I've tried several times. I changed my settings to allow pop ups, still no luck. And for most of the captcha's, I have to constantly re-load image
'cause it's too damned hard to read. If I'm having these difficulties, then I'm sure others are too.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah mates, have had problems myself with Captcha since the start. But evidently it's us who are stupid and can't do it 
Also: I tried JD with free user and it didn't work either. So it working with free user isn't accurate. It doesn't work at all as Rory has said several times. (It's sad but that's life. I'm willing to bet my links don't have any traction either because users are just so complacent in their ways.)

Feels like Xerver is trying to force free/registered users to buy a premium plan just to have the opportunity to download from them.
If they don't change this marketing ploy, I'll just delete my files and move on. Also this host will probably be banned soon on the forums circuit,
for not offering free downloads. Though, they say they do. Oh well, I'll wait a week, see if things change.

More than 70 % of my files got deleted in 2 days !
How is this even possible ?!
All the files are from diffrent publishers , diffrent authors ( they are ebooks ), how can it be that all of them reported the books in one day ?!!
Not because you received a DMCA report that you should delete the files immediately.
You need to ask for a proof of the rights !!!
I think one of my biggest competitor is playing with me .
I have an advise : don't just delete the files , make them private.
and don't make them private until they give you scanned papers of owned rights because there is no way that hundreds of publishers and authors attacked my site in one day, no way!
Now , I have to reupload everything !
Sadly If this doesn't stop by the end of the week, I'll just move to another host.
The only thing that's keeping me with you is fast payments, nothing else.
The site is always down ! files just get deleted out of no where !, desktop uploader doesn't work ! Why the heck Am I with you ?!

Thats ok, the problem is after user bought premium account they cannot queue & download files because they didnt submit plugin development request to JDownloader devs, i could help with that but based in previous statements of xserver´s staff, they dont wanna work with this software while every sucessfull filehost nowdays deal with it :facepalm:

Fuck, didn't know this capcha problem was still so wide-spread.
Must be why don't really get downloads anymore.
Ps. Given the all-around circumstances with crap PPD providers, I firmly believe that Xerver is the best PPD however they need to look into the issues affiliates are speaking constantly about like unstable earn counting after the change and above capcha problem.
Other than that... Xerver PPD plan vs say fileOM Mixed, former wins each time, single downloads actually mean smth.
