hmmm are you sure? cuz currently am in india came for studies and i asked them but they said you need to buy it (350$) and spend more (300$) total (650$) to make it work thats why i made a thread what should i buy

Both consoles are pretty equal so I'd say look at the exclusives and buy which one has the games you like.

Do you play online? XBox Live is much better than PSN but it's also ~$60/year. If you play enough to pay for the better service (Live) buy a 360.

The PS3 can be "hacked" with just a normal USB flash drive and there are tutorials all over the 'net so if you go that route don't pay someone to do it. I've never hacked a 360 so I don't know how easy/hard it is. Although it's probably obvious, remember a hacked console means no online play/downloads (or at least, for long).

I have a both,but my voice go in xbox360,ps3 is good only because some exclusive game and nothing more..And hardware in ps3 is better?Maybe..But MS better optimize game,I compare some same game in same tv and xbox have better picture,better frame rate ,better online suport,joypad is better(when got ps3 joy its very light like some cheap peace of plastic)But if you plan play pirate game than its very hard to say,now xbox360 winn in that,but microsoft announced new type protection from now,larger game format,than you cant burn in dual layer cd,because game be for 1gb larger.Better choice is xbox360 for now.
